IMECE — the International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition — is the world's largest interdisciplinary mechanical engineering conference, run under the auspices of ASME, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. When ASME India brought IMECE to India for the first time, hosting it in Hyderabad in 2025, it wasn't just a logistical milestone — it was a statement. An event of this stature, drawing 2,000+ delegates, 500+ speakers, and 50+ exhibitors from across academia, government, and industry, needed a digital presence that could match it.
It didn't have one.
IMECE India needed to serve a demanding, multi-stakeholder audience — researchers submitting papers, industry professionals registering to attend, sponsors exploring exhibition opportunities, and organizers managing a dense calendar of deadlines and tracks. The existing web setup was fragmented and static, with no clear information architecture to guide different user types through different journeys. Paper submission timelines, speaker listings, technical tracks, and sponsorship opportunities all needed to live in one cohesive, fast, and credible digital home — one that could also be updated regularly without developer dependency as the event evolved.
The mission was clear: build a conference website that could represent the prestige of ASME on Indian soil.

Avidus Interactive designed and developed a full-scale conference website for IMECE India — built to handle the complexity of a multi-track, multi-stakeholder event while remaining clean and intuitive for every visitor type. The site was structured around distinct user journeys: authors and organizers, delegates and attendees, sponsors and exhibitors, and the broader engineering community.

The first time IMECE lands in India is a moment in the history of engineering in this country. Avidus Interactive made sure that when the world's engineering community looked it up, what they found was worthy of the occasion.
